Why FIAT Why - you killing the PALIO ??

My brother was driving my palio and we had a near-head-on collision with a pulsar bike coming from the opposite side on the warangal-karimnagar highway. The front right tyre burst on impact, also damaging the headlight, fender and the door, all on the right side, the SRVM broke. The bike was badly damaged too. Worst is the fate of the bike-rider, a college going bloke widout even a license. His right foot was crushed between the car and the bike, even though he was wearing a shoe, lost his toes!!!

Palio is a beast that's difficult to reign in on the highways. A common notion among us palio owners is that a Palio driven at >130kmph feels like heaven and that takes us very very close to even hell. Even I tend to drive at around 110-120s on six lane roads, but now I've resolved that atleast when my family is aboard, i will NOT cross 90, and that i'll check my temptation to race with the swifts and i10s on the highways.

The one in this accident is a Stile MJD, and now I know dat even the Stile is a solid enough car, if not as strong as the retro-Palio. Am happy with my decision to stick to the MJD even when there are other boxes available with the same heart.

P.S: What is it with team-bhp and FIAT?? Even came across a thread the other day where-in a member of t-bhp tried to fabricate evidence over wikipedia to prove that Suzuki helped FIAT in the development of MJD engine!!!
