KHT motors service update...

Hi

I gave my car to HKT motors bangalor for servicing last week and here is my (horrible/interesting) experience.

1. Initial booking, security was good. Service adviser attended it quickly and asked for issues.

2. I have AC problem (mentioned sometime back on forum). The AC works fine for first 30/45 mins but later stops. I came to know from one of the PUG members that its the sensor. I told this to the service adviser that he needs to change the sensor.

3. some sound from the left front seat. Asked him to fix it

4. The rear door (trunk) had some problem. I asked him to fix the shock assembly (that keeps the rear door open/balence). He said it needs to be replaced. I told him to replace it if he cant fix it.

5. I told him to put the synthetic oil as I wanted to give a try.

6. There was some uneven wear to front tire so I asked him to change front and rear tires (rotate) and wheel balencing.

The dilivery was promised around evening.

I got a call around 5 that if I can pickup car next day instead of evening. But i told them deliver it by evening as i was travelling very next day morning. He said then collect it around 6:30 PM. I was okay with that.

I went there around 6:15 PM. He said they checked with AC and its working fine as they checked cutoff timings. They did checked that a month back and asked me come if still exists and they will fix it. Now they said come on sunny day then they can check it. ahhh. I went to them 2nd time for that. I told them exact problem but still they did not fixed it. He was telling me they have to check expansion valve. Okay.. If something wrong with the expansion valve wheather AC will work? I told him atleast 3 times that the sensor (thermistor) has to be replaced. I also told him the exact nature of the issue. After first 15 mins of AC the ice deposites on and it stops the cool air come inside. Infact if I change the air circulation to outside air the AC works again as hot air from outside melts the ice. After telling all this they did not solved the issue.. ahh frustration no 1.

The rear door is still an issue. they did not replaced assembly nor fixed it

The front seat still have sound. btw they charged me for that

i thought with the synthetic oil my car will be smoother. When i gave my car for service before (BUB pune and Prerana) it was smooth even with regular oid. but now the ingine is oppisite to smooth. Now I am feeling its rough. I want to check what oil they have put. I am not sure if they used synthetic at all. How to do that?

Sometime back I did recommended KHT motors to the people. I would like to take that statment back. ahhhh.....

I recieved the call yesterday about the feedback from KHT. I told them all of this. The lady asked me to drop the car again and they will fix the issue. Now I am little scared to drop the car as atleast its working. They were talking about removing the dashbard to check expansion valve and all. I fear the AC is working now. it may stop working completely and no one knows what other complications they will do to my car.

A month back I recommended my friend to them for his GTX. It seems they screwed his car as well...

dont know what to do... Any recommendations?
