plug-in socket just below the oil filter

The M151a1 that I own has a plug-in socket just below the oil filter. Don't know what it was for… perhaps an engine heating blanket for cold climates? Any ideas? if it is a 3 pin connector it is the low oil pressure shut off switch ...Pretty sure its for a block heater or test port ............not a test port Jeff's got it right  .....
